The word of the day is work. There’s a passage in the holy scriptures that declares that if a man don’t work he doesn’t eat.
To conceptualize the true meaning we must break down the context. I have been working whether it be for myself or another since I was 15 first job was a youth group that paid me a couple dollars an hour.
I am speaking about this today as I was coming in to the office this morning a guy was coming across the parking lot aggressively asking my coworker for a dollar 💵 he didn’t see me and my coworker is a female.
I got out of my car and he stopped in his to tracks and I said sir go to work as he was a younger man than me it crossed my mind to tell him that.
I give my fair share to my charities of choice and I have likely handed out a thousand dollars or more easily to the street hustlers.
I’m not rich yet but I have a huge heart for the un- housed although I know that I am not actually helping them but I don’t care if I can get a man a cup of coffee 🍵 that might motivate them to keep moving ahead.
Lord knows that we have to do something different for the forgotten ones amongst us.
